REFUND POLICY

How refunds, credits and cancellations work on Hellokorean.

Core Refund Principles

01 Refunds apply to unused credits and to lessons that have not started.
02 Completed lessons cannot be refunded or retroactively deducted.
03 Lesson quality complaints raised within 48 hours after the lesson are reviewed before settlement is finalized.
04 Credits and prices are denominated in USD.

Mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence may still apply.

Key Definitions

Student: A learner booking classes via Hellokorean.
Tutor: Independent contractor following platform rules.
Lesson: Sessions ranging from 10–60 mins (20 mins for trials).

Platform Credits

Credits are denominated in USD ($1 = 1 Credit). They function like cash for booking, and credits you purchase do not expire. Promotional bonus credits may carry their own validity period. Refunds can be issued to your wallet instantly.

Free Trial Allocation:

New members get 5 trials. After 3000 minutes, get 5 more.

Where Refunds Go

Approved refunds are returned to your platform wallet or to the original payment method, as shown in the table above. Wallet refunds are credited immediately.

How to Request a Refund

Email support@hellokorean.org from your registered address with your account email and the amount requested, or use the in-app request form. We respond within 2 business days.

Disputes & Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us first so we can review it. Filing a chargeback with your card issuer before contacting us may result in a temporary hold on your account while the matter is reviewed.
